See how easy Connected Home Charging is to use in everyday life.
Solar-optimised charging.
If your photovoltaic system produces enough solar power, this is automatically used to charge your electrified BMW. This allows you to charge with as much self-generated electricity as possible, save money and reduce your carbon footprint.
Load-optimised charging.
Always charge at the maximum possible power. If other appliances in your household, such as a tumble dryer or an oven, are consuming a lot of power, the BMW Wallbox Plus automatically adjusts its output. This prevents the house circuit from being overloaded. At the same time, you always charge with the best possible charging time.
How to use Connected Home Charging.
You can start charging immediately with the Connected Home Charging Package. Experts from E.ON will take care of delivery, installation and set-up at your home. [1] Official data for fuel consumption, CO2 emissions, power consumption and electric range was determined in accordance with the prescribed measuring procedure and corresponds to European Regulation (EC) 715/2007 in the applicable version. For ranges, data determined as per WLTP takes into account any optional equipment (available on the German market in this case). For vehicles that have been newly type approved since 1 January 2021, only the official data according to WLTP exists. In addition, NEDC values are deleted from the certificates of conformity as of 1 January 2023 by EC regulation 2022/195.
