Iconic kidney grille.
Sporty to the core, the BMW kidney grille is inspired by classic race cars. It comes with a unique mesh design that gives three-dimensional depth. The front also displays a sleek “clam shell” bonnet that emphasises the power lying beneath.
Dynamic side design.
As intelligent as it is athletic, the Z4 Roadster features a distinctive Air Breather behind the front wheel arches to reduce air turbulence for those open road trips. Above the rear wheel arch, you’ll find a defined character line that blends harmoniously with the black soft-top.
Power from front to back.
The rear lights extend far into the side of the vehicle for a sophisticated look that gets you noticed for all the right reasons. And to enhance the sporty appearance of the Z4, it features a rear spoiler and free-form exhaust tailpipes on both sides.

M Sport seats.
The M Sport seats with integrated headrests, deep sitting surface and backrest bolsters offer improved support, even in fast turns. In addition, the driver's seat and, depending on the equipment, the front passenger seat can be adjusted to your individual body dimensions thanks to the integrated backrest width adjustment.
Ambient Lighting.
Ambient lighting creates a relaxed, cosy lighting atmosphere in the interior. There are eleven predefined light designs available in six different colours, with contour and ambient lighting on the instrument panel, door trim and centre console.
Harman Kardon Surround Sound System.
The outstanding Harman Kardon Surround Sound System features a 408-watt digital amplifier, seven channels and twelve speakers. Its sophisticated sound perfectly fills the interior space. (available as optional equipment)

M Sport differential.
The M Sport differential optimises traction and driving stability when changing lanes or accelerating out of a bend or on different road surfaces. Traction is optimised with the help of an electronically operated device that reduces the difference in revolution speed between the rear wheels. (only available on M40i model)
M Sport braking system.
The M Sport brake has four-piston fixed callipers at the front and single-piston floating callipers at the rear in blue with the M designation and features large brake discs to ensure an impressive braking performance.
Variable sport steering.
The variable sport steering with Servotronic creates a direct and agile steering response. It reacts to the angle of the steering wheel with varying steering ratios. This improves handling when driving more dynamically.
THE DRIVER ASSISTANCE SYSTEMS OF THE BMW Z4 ROADSTER.
Driving Assistant.
The safety package Driving Assistant includes the camera-based systems front collision warning with braking function, Speed Limit Assist incl. Speed Limit Info and Lane Departure Warning. Additionally, the radar-based equipment includes Crossing traffic warning rear, Lane Change Warning and Rear collision warning.
Parking Assistant.
The Parking Assistant helps to park the vehicle when either parallel or bay parking. It is accessed via the parking button or by engaging reverse gear. The system takes over the steering, driving and braking so the driver only has to oversee the parking process.
BMW Head-Up Display.
The full-colour BMW Head-Up Display projects information relevant to the journey directly into the driver's field of vision, thereby allowing them to fully concentrate on driving. Information such as the current speed and, depending on the equipment, navigation directions, Speed Limit Info, along with telephone and entertainment lists are displayed.
