The BMW i Warranty offers three year unlimited mileage cover from date of first registration. The warranty for your BMW i vehicle also includes BMW Roadside Assistance and also protection for the BMW i high voltage battery for up to eight years from first registration or 100,000 miles, whichever comes first.

The BMW PHEV warranty offers three year unlimited mileage cover from date of first registration. The warranty for your BMW PHEV vehicle includes BMW Roadside Assistance and protection for the BMW high voltage battery.
The duration & mileage of the PHEV battery warranty varies by model.
Generation 3 or 4 PHEV batteries - 6 years or 62,000 miles from first registration date, whichever occurs first.
Generation 5 PHEV batteries - 8 years or 100,000 miles from first registration date, whichever occurs first.

Even though your BMW isn’t brand new, we know it is still important to be protected. The 12-month BMW Approved Used Car Warranty is designed to protect your investment and reduce the cost of your BMW ownership. The warranty provides a minimum of 12-month coverage for your battery and exhaust system along with other components in the case of manufacturing defects. BMW Roadside Assistance cover and MOT Protect cover are included, protecting you against some unexpected costs that might arise from MOT failure.

Answer: Yes, your BMW Warranty does work outside the UK. During the first 24 months of the warranty, if your BMW needs to be repaired outside of the UK, it can be taken to any Authorised BMW Centre or BMW Service Authorised Workshop. If you are abroad and a warranty repair is required, this should be carried out by an Authorised BMW Centre or BMW Service Authorised Workshop and on your return to the UK, contact your local BMW Centre who will process a warranty claim. Please note, the AUC warranty is only valid in the UK.
