The standard 8-speed Steptronic sport transmission offers incredibly sporty gear changes. In SPORT PLUS mode on the M240i xDrive model and with the selector lever in the left-hand S/M position, the gear shifts are configured for the maximum performance.
ADAPTIVE M SUSPENSION.
The optional Adaptive M suspension available on the M240i xDrive model can be electrically adjusted at any time to suit the road and driving conditions. You can also adjust the suspension levels via the Driving Experience Control.

BMW DIGITAL KEY.
The BMW Digital Key turns your compatible smartphone* into a vehicle key. To unlock, simply hold the smartphone next to the door handle; before starting your BMW place it on the smartphone tray. In addition, you can send a Digital Key to up to five friends, and even limit the maximum speed, for example – ideal for novice drivers.

TURBINE STYLE KIDNEY GRILLE.
The single-frame kidney grille brings both style and function to the BMW 2 Series Coupé. The classic slats of the kidney grille are replaced by expressively styled flaps, which open or close to meet the demand for air.
