High Beam Assistant
You no longer need to switch between low and high beam. Your BMW automatically does it for you. You can now drive more safely with the best visibility on dark roads.
WHAT THE HIGH-BEAM ASSISTANT CAN DO.
The camera on your interior mirror detects the headlights of oncoming vehicles from a distance of up to 700 metres. It also detects vehicles up to 400 metres ahead of you. Your BMW immediately switches from high to low beam. The camera also recognises built-up areas, road signs and changing light. It switches from high to low beam at precisely the right moment.
